My love and gratitude towards my clients continues to bloom. Traveling from Calgary to come see me, this is the fourth time I have been honored to capture this families miracles. On this day however, I was so happy to help them welcome the very first, darling baby boy to the family. Welcome sweet prince. You are loved.

Firstly, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!  I sort have dropped completely off the radar there for a little while and never said that!  The darling wee baby boy above is telling my story — I am *wiped*!  lol!  So as hard as it will be for me to peel myself away (I adore my job), I will be taking my first break from work since having my baby girl back in September. (I say break loosely since I still have to finish up with about ten client sessions and I still have one more due date.  LOL!!).  I will be “out of the office” until January 6th and will begin returning all calls and emails at that time.  I will be checking my messages from time to time though, so please feel free to leave me a message if you have had a baby – those messages I will return asap.

The new year is coming up so quick.  I am so truly grateful for this past year.  So many phenomenal, beautiful things have happened and I am now able to just sit back and smile.  I have sooo many fantastic things on the go for 2010 that I am wicked excited for.  Seriously – I could cry with happiness and excitement.  It will be amazing.

It was a calm November day when I met you.  The cloud was a ledge that cut through the sky, dividing it one half blue and one half grey.  The grey seemed heavy and sank as the morning sun lifted higher, revealing the blue.  It was as though the sky was opening it’s eyes.   The edges softened to wispy wisps of white and the beautiful individual rays from the sun spilled down.  It was a good day.

It was beautiful to meet you baby girl.  Be good to your Mommy and Daddy.  They love you true ♥

Dear baby boy,

It was my absolute pleasure to meet you.  I think before you arrived, you decided to just sit back and enjoy the day.  You were such a good boy.  For the love of cute and furry bunnies, don’t even get me started on this first image below.  I love it as though it were a picture of my own babies.  I swear I can hear you snort ♥

This little man is the beautiful new life from this fabulous maternity session.  It was great getting to spend another lovely afternoon with this fantastic family.

This sweet peanut is the brand new baby sister to a handsome fella I photographed back in 2007.  I simply adore this family.  They are fabulous people and I am incredibly lucky to watch their family grow.

The tiny little things make me so happy when working with newborns.  They make me laugh and make my whole heart happy.  Baby toes are one of the tastiest things on EARTH!  Couldn’t you just gobble them up?!  The way that the wiggle them, stretch them and clench them gets me every time.  Oh man, and don’t even get me started on the a-dor-a-ble faces they make!  lol!  HOORAY FOR BABIES!

Did You Know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month?

It was my absolute pleasure to recently donate a session and album to a slilent auction, which took place near the end of September.  I just heard from the organizer today, that the event was a happy success with a lot of money raised.  All the money collected from this event went to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  I look forward to meeting the winner of my donation!  Thank you so much for your support.
