If I were to guess of what the feeling of love looks like, my guess would be that it must look like a dream. Perhaps how a dream appears in your mind as you begin to wake.

I apologize for my blog absence. Every so often I tend to bury myself in wonderful sessions, my beautiful family and projects to make head and heart happy. I have many recent sessions to share and still many more due dates coming up, all this (hopefully) before my big trip in May. There is so, so much to do before then though. Wish me luck!

Well hello there beautiful soul.  I am humbled to be in this moment with you.  You are important and full of brilliance.  The day I met you, the world around us was still full of shades of grey and winter blue.  There is beauty all around.  The tall, delicate frost is quite a stunning sight.

From feisty girls come strong, independent women.  They will become fearless leaders and shining stars, risk takers and magic makers.  They will do extraordinary things and become extraordinary people.  Dear child, you will be amazing.

In twenty one days, I will be one year older. I think if anyone asks me if I “feel any older”, this year the answer might be yes.  It’s one of those birthdays for me … and don’t ask which one because I know some of you may laugh at me for reflecting upon my age.  LOL!

I have seen so much beauty.  I have experienced so many extraordinary moments.  I am grateful for this life.  So grateful.

Dear Little Bunny,

You are growing so quickly.  You are sprouting such personality and make mommy’s heart all fluttery when you giggle.  You are looking like your sisters more and more everyday.  Lately you have decided you will not cry – instead you will scream.  Mommy has chosen to think this is cute.

This sweet peanut is the brand new baby sister to a handsome fella I photographed back in 2007.  I simply adore this family.  They are fabulous people and I am incredibly lucky to watch their family grow.
