The retreat will be hosted in a gorgeous private residence overlooking Okanagan Lake. Spring in the Okanagan Valley is such a beautiful & inspiring thing!
WHAT
A workshop with no name — a retreat for the creative. We are two friends with a passion for beauty & natural connection; Dana offers insight into her unique, award winning brand of lifestyle family art, while Ashley brings her signature style & perspective on natural, free flowing newborn imagery. Combined we are able to offer a one-of-a-kind learning & sharing experience you simply won’t find anywhere else. We hope to show how two photographers with two completely different styles approach their work & their business from a place of love; both for their craft & their clients. Topics of discussion will include:
- creativity
- inspiration
- client experience
- pricing
- marketing
- natural newborn session flow
- & authentic family interactions
We are passionate about participation & group discussions — energy, thoughts & ideas are free flowing in this kind of environment. It’s electric.
During the weekend you will have the opportunity to see two signature sessions; Dana leading an evening family session & Ashley with a morning newborn session. These sessions will be observed only, to truly get a feel for an authentic session experience. This is a beautiful chance to absorb, experience & feel a session. A number of images will be selected from each session to show & discuss session workflow & post production work.
We will provide healthy yummy meals, snacks & beverages from Friday’s welcome reception through to a farewell Sunday lunch. Nourishing you body, mind & creative soul.
TUITION
For the Kelowna retreat we have two options available:
Without accommodation (10 spots available) — $1795.00
With accommodation (6 spots available) – $1995.00
We have a limited number of spots available for shared sleeping accommodations in the guesthouse on the property; these are available to the first six to secure with payment. For those who prefer to have their own private accommodations, the beautiful Lake Okanagan Resort is literally within walking distance to the main house. If you choose this option, please note that it is your responsibility to make these arrangements prior to the workshop.
TERMS
Your payment is your commitment; all money paid is non refundable. If for any reason your are unable to attend, you are welcome to find someone to take your seat.
To reserve your spot the retreat payment is due in full. Sorry, no exceptions or extensions.
